• Previous experience working in a public accounting firm is required.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, or a combination of these areas.
• Familiarity with financial statements, account reconciliations, and general accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and accounting records
• Perform general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Review financial data, identify discrepancies, and help resolve accounting issues
• Assist with tax preparation, tax filings, and audit support as needed
