Job summary

McGill Hose & Coupling in Woburn, MA is seeking a hands-on Branch Manager to lead daily operations and drive sales growth. You will oversee front counter and production, coordinate purchasing, warehouse, and shipping, and mentor a diverse team in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The ideal candidate brings proven management experience in industrial distribution, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to work on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Management or supervisory experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing, hydraulic hose, or related industry preferred.
• Proven leadership with ability to motivate and develop employees.
• Strong sales and customer service experience required.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Willingness to perform hose assembly and production work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop branch employees through coaching and accountability, leading by example.
• Build strong customer relationships to drive branch sales and growth opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience with timely responses, technical support, and reliable service.
• Coordinate with Outside Sales and Business Development to fulfill customer needs and new opportunities.
• Oversee daily branch operations for efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Identify inefficiencies, implement improvements, and maintain safety and quality standards.
