Job summary

Advanced Pump, a hands-on pump sales and repair business in Woburn, MA, seeks an Operations & Service Manager to run day-to-day activities. You will handle inside sales, ecommerce, and coordinate service/repair workflows with customers, technicians, and vendors.

Ideal candidates have 3–7+ years in sales/ops, are highly organized, and excel in a small business setting. Growth opportunities and a strong customer-focus await in this in-person role.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of experience in sales, operations, or office management.
• Comfortable in a small business environment where responsibilities vary day-to-day.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Self-starter who can take initiative without constant direction.
• Experience with ecommerce platforms or inventory/order systems is a plus.
• Background in industrial service, distribution, or service businesses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage inside sales: answer calls, prepare quotes, process orders.
• Manage ecommerce activity (order processing, listings, customer inquiries).
• Manage & coordinate service and repair workflow between customers, technicians, and outside vendors.
• Communicate with customers on order status, timelines, and service updates.
• Help maintain organized records, inventory coordination, and general office operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.
