Job summary

SPX Technologies is hiring an Assembler (C) to help manufacture air handling equipment for industrial HVAC systems. You will follow blueprints, assemble components, and participate in multiple stations to support safety, quality, and schedule performance.

This role requires basic mechanical aptitude, ability to read assembly drawings, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate related equipment safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn assembly processes.
• Ability to follow work instructions and blueprints accurately.
• Experience using hand tools and measuring devices preferred.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, adjust, and install prefabricated parts to manufacture air handling systems.
• Perform adjustments and fine-tuning for proper assembly.
• Interpret blueprints, BOMs, and revisions accurately.
• Assemble and install system components including fans, coils, dampers, and ducts.
• Independently assemble complete air handling units from start to finish.
• Assist with assembly of related system components and sections.
• Apply proper fastening, sealing, and fit-up techniques.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools safely; operate cranes and forklifts as needed.
• Troubleshoot basic assembly issues and escalate complex ones.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Participate in cross-training across stations and processes.
• Follow safety policies, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
