Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies is hiring an Assembler (C) to support the manufacturing of air handling equipment for cooling towers and related systems in our Kansas facility. You will read blueprints, assemble prefabricated parts, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time performance.

You'll develop foundational assembly skills, operate hand and pneumatic tools, and work in a team to meet production schedules. The role includes physical duties and adherence to strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; basic mechanical aptitude required.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints.
• Experience with basic assembly, fastening, sealing, and fit-up activities.
• Experience operating hand and pneumatic tools and measuring devices.
• Ability to use overhead cranes and material handling equipment safely.
• Must work well in a team and adapt to changing production schedules.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, adjust, and install prefabricated parts to manufacture air handling systems.
• Interpret blueprints and engineering revisions accurately.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in line with company standards.
• Participate in cross-training to support multiple assembly stations.
