Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking an assembler to fit and assemble metal components on the shop floor. You will read work instructions, position parts, and secure assemblies using bolts and fasteners to produce units that pass final inspection.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and basic math, with the ability to read simple instructions and write basic notes. The environment includes working with drills and hand tools on a manufacturing line.

Qualifications

• Reads and comprehends simple instructions, memos, and short correspondence.
• Writes simple correspondence.
• Performs basic arithmetic (add/subtract/multiply/divide) as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Positions parts according to the unit being assembled or controlled documents.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, or other fasteners.
• Operates drills, hand/air impact wrenches, and hand tools.
• Produces a completed unit capable of passing final inspection.
• Other duties as assigned.
