The role includes owning accounts payable/receivable, cash activity, month-end close, and financial reporting, while supervising an Accounting Associate and improving internal controls.

You will balance hands-on processing with strategic oversight, ensuring accuracy under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• CMP or CMA preferred but not required.
• Advanced GAAP knowledge and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise high-volume daily accounting operations including AP/AR, payments, cash activity, and reconciliations.
• Oversee AR operations including invoicing, cash application, collections, and reconciliations.
• Direct and train Accounting Associate to ensure deadlines.
• Manage month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and multi-entity consolidations.
• Maintain GAAP-compliant reporting and internal controls.
