Labora is seeking an Accounting Manager to own accounting and treasury across 15 operating entities in Dallas. Cash moves between entities daily and you will work closely with the CFO.

You will lead month-end close, prepare financial statements, review reconciliations, and develop staff while overseeing trusts, real estate and investment accounts. This role offers direct access to leadership and a clear growth path.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle ownership.
• Hands-on reconciliation, journal entry review, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience overseeing or reviewing the work of other accounting staff.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and demonstrated accounting ERP experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Sound judgment and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Manage treasury across the entity structure: daily cash positioning, wires, ACH, intercompany movement, and funding each entity to meet its obligations.
• Lead month-end close and prepare financial statements for the operating companies.
• Review journal entries, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare management reporting and ad hoc analysis for the CFO and principals.
• Oversee, review, and develop accounting staff.
• Handle accounting for trusts, a real estate portfolio with related loan activity, and local investment accounts.
• Coordinate with investments, tax, payroll, and legal partners, including recurring recharge activity with affiliated companies.
