Job summary

Talentify is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead both high-volume transactional accounting and higher-level financial oversight. You will personally manage AP, AR, payments, cash activity, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting while mentoring an Accounting Associate focused on AR.

The role requires moving between detailed data entry and team leadership, maintaining GAAP-compliant reporting in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience processing AR/AP, payments, cash activity, reconciliations, and multi-entity consolidations.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-volume daily accounting operations including AP/AR, payment processing, cash application, reconciliations.
• Oversees AP/AR operations and assists with invoicing, collections, and deposits as needed.
• Directs and develops Accounting Associate focused on AR, ensures deadlines are met.
• Manages month-end close, journal entries, accruals, schedules, reconciliations.
• Prepares monthly financial statements and multi-entity consolidation reports.
• Maintains strong internal controls and GAAP compliance.
