Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking a Board-eligible/board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in hand to join a leading Northwest Indiana facility in Hobart. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule within a tech-forward environment, with emphasis on patient-centered care and work-life balance.

The role includes surgical and non-surgical management of hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow conditions, a 1:6 call rotation, and collaboration with athletic trainers and physical therapists.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in orthopedic surgery.
• Indiana medical license and CSR/DEA registration.
• Proficiency in general orthopedic procedures and arthroscopic techniques.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with athletic trainers and physical therapists.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for conditions affecting the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow.
• Clinic patients per day: 30.
• Call Rotation: 1:6.
• Perform complex hand and upper extremity surgeries, including tendon repairs, nerve decompression (carpal tunnel), fracture fixation, and microvascular procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations for chronic conditions such as arthritis and Dupuytren's contracture.
• Manage acute upper extremity trauma, including revascularization and replantation where applicable.
