Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Hand and Orthopedic Surgeon to join a premier Northwest Indiana healthcare provider in Hobart. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with flexible hours and a chance to shape your practice in a tech-forward environment.

Requirements include board certification/eligibility in orthopedic surgery, Indiana license and CSR/DEA; experience in arthroscopy; EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation; and strong collaboration with athletic trainers and physical

Qualifications

• Board certification/eligibility in orthopedic surgery.
• Eligible for Indiana medical license and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with arthroscopic techniques and hand/upper-extremity procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow.
• Clinic volume around 30 patients per day.
• Manage call rotation, 1:6.
• Perform complex hand and upper-extremity surgeries including tendon repairs and nerve decompression.
• Conduct evaluations for chronic conditions such as arthritis and Dupuytren's contracture.
• Utilize advanced minimally invasive techniques for wrist and small joints.
