Job summary

Harborview Hand Therapy Clinic at Harborview Medical Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist 2 to provide per diem hand therapy for trauma patients, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to advance recovery outcomes.

Required are graduation from an OT program, Washington state OT license, and successful completion of AOTA certification exam; CHT preferred. You will contribute to education and quality patient care within a dynamic rehab service.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited OT program.
• Licensed to practice in Washington state (or eligible).
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, administer and evaluate hand therapy for trauma patients.
• Progress treatment goals and educate patients and families.
• Treat caseloads from routine to complex and coordinate care across disciplines.
• Implement treatment programs including exercise, manual therapy, splinting and modalities.
• Instruct and supervise students as assigned by supervisor.
• Serve as a resource within rehab therapy and promote quality care.
• Participate in department projects to improve service delivery.
• Provide education to rehab staff and health care professionals.
