Job summary

Confluence Health seeks an Occupational Therapist (Hand Therapist) to join our rehabilitation team in Washington. You will evaluate patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, or cognitive impairments, develop treatment plans, and guide therapy to restore function, strength, and independence while collaborating with physicians, nurses, case managers and other therapy staff.

• Active Washington State Occupational Therapist license or active Occupational limited permit with expectation to obtain full license within the first year.
• Graduated from an accredited OT program with clinical internship completed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chart reviews and screen for appropriateness of OT evaluation.
• Perform initial evaluations and establish plan of care and goals.
• Select and modify interventions based on patient progress and evidence-based practice.
• Understand therapy billing, coding, and payor reimbursement; document and bill per guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapy staff; participate in discharge planning.
• Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and thorough documentation.
