Job summary

Harborview Medical Center - REHAB THERAPIES is seeking an Occupational Therapist 1 for acute care on a per diem, day shift in Seattle. The OT1 will assess, plan, implement and evaluate therapy, progressing goals and educating patients and families.

Collaboration with the care team and adherence to treatment protocols are essential for recovery. Requirements include graduation from an accredited OT program, successful NBOT examination, and an active Washington license.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited OT program and successful NBOT examination.
• Active Washington State OT license to practice.
• Equivalent education/experience may substitute for all minimum qualifications except where a license/ certification is required by law.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, administer, evaluate and provide safe occupational therapy.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate continuity of patient care.
• Implement treatment programs addressing sensorimotor deficits, ADLs, cognition and therapeutic adaptations.
