Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Interpreter Certificate required; National Medical Interpreter Certificate preferred.
• 2-3 years healthcare interpreting experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating interpreters and scheduling.
• Ability to navigate hospital and assist LEP patients.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate interpretation requests for patients and families.
• Provide sight and written translation of important materials.
• Coordinate with interpreters for assignments and scheduling.
• Document interpretation encounters with relevant data.
• Assist LEP patients in navigating hospital processes and services.
