Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to manage patient procedures, pre-admission testing, testing, surgery, follow-ups, and wait lists in a busy clinical setting.

You will coordinate to confirm locations, times, and resources, maintain patient data in scheduling systems, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and communicate clearly with patients about next steps and required preparations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patients for procedures and follow-ups.
• Maintains scheduling systems and patient data.
• Coordinates preauthorization and referrals for procedures.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners.
• Communicates schedules to staff and patients daily.
