Job summary

Johns Hopkins University’s White Marsh Gyn/Ob clinic seeks a Clinic Manager to oversee daily operations, improve patient flow, registration, insurance preauthorization, and regulatory compliance. You will lead administrative staff and work with nursing and physician leadership to optimize clinic performance.

You will serve as Epic super-user, coordinate with billing, IT, HR, and compliance to drive service excellence and achieve key metrics for patient care and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Understanding of reimbursement policies and third-party payers.
• Experience in healthcare management and patient service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the White Marsh Gyn/Ob practice.
• Manage administrative staff and coordinate training as needed.
• Collaborate with Nursing/Clinical leadership on operations and metrics.
• Serve as Epic Super-user for EMR troubleshooting and process changes.
• Ensure high-quality patient care, monitor safety and key metrics.
• Monitor patient satisfaction via dashboards and lead improvement action plans.
• Develop reports on access, volumes, show rates, and reimbursements.
• Assist with data analysis and manage Epic work queues.
• Liaise between scheduling/registration staff and Billing/Compliance.
• Maintain downtime documentation and oversee payroll processing.
• Keep equipment and facilities in good working order; place maintenance requests.
• Act as patient advocate and resolve questions/complaints.
• Coordinate with JH Billing Office to resolve billing issues.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulators.
• Attend meetings and interface with IT, Legal, HR, Compliance.
