Job summary

UCSF Health Medical Foundation's OB/GYN Clinic is seeking a Clinic Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and patient flow. The role focuses on efficient clinic performance, staff development, and regulatory compliance.

You'll collaborate with physicians and leadership to improve outcomes, manage revenue cycle processes, and optimize EPIC workflows, scheduling, and referrals, while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus five years healthcare leadership experience, or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• RN, or LVN
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience in an ambulatory practice or healthcare setting.
• Women’s Health or OB/GYN practice experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinic operations, quality improvement, compliance, and patient access.
• Proficiency with EPIC and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations and patient flow.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, timekeeping, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing staff, and leadership to improve efficiency and patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient satisfaction, quality metrics, and regulatory compliance.
• Support revenue cycle processes, documentation accuracy, and operational performance goals.
• Optimize EPIC workflows, referrals, scheduling, and in-basket management.
• Conduct staff meetings, huddles, and training sessions.
• Ensure adequate inventory and facility readiness.
• Responsible for maintaining clinic compliance activities and identifying improvements.
• Actively participate in supporting the process for ongoing team educational needs.
