The role supports staffing, front desk operations, tours, member requests and maintenance. Ideal candidates bring strong customer service, supervisory skills, CPR certification and a high school diploma; 18+ age required.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
• Experience working as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness.
• Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Hard working, energetic and enthusiastic.
• Strong problem resolution skills.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests and ensure superior customer service.
• Assist with staff management and provide backup support to Club Manager; schedule staff.
• Oversee member service to ensure a superior experience at all times.
• Resolve or escalate employee issues or concerns.
• Handle front desk duties: answer phones and assist callers.
• Check members into the system and sign up new members; give tours.
• Facilitate member requests, issues and questions.
• Assist in overseeing cleanliness and maintenance of facility.
• Assist in ordering supplies within club budget.
• Track statistics and reports weekly, monthly and annually.
• Provide backup support for any employee absent.
