Job summary

Planet Fitness in the United States is seeking a Club Manager to oversee gym operations, ensuring a positive member experience and a financially successful club. You will recruit, train, and supervise staff, manage front desk activities, and uphold the Planet Fitness brand across all member interactions.

Qualifications

• One year of equivalent managerial experience.
• Strong customer service skills are required.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with basic computer tasks and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
• Member service oversight ensuring top customer experiences.
• Front desk duties including greeting, tours, and handling questions.
• Support for staff and club members, maintaining a positive image.
• Coach and counsel performance to meet company standards.
• Open/close the gym and ensure staff coverage during all hours.
• Ensure staff are trained on current promotions.
• Oversee onboarding in Paycom for new hires.
• Manage inventory and ordering of supplies.
