Planet Fitness is seeking a Club Manager to oversee gym operations and deliver a top-tier, judgement-free member experience. You will lead a diverse team, ensure opening/closing, drive sales, and manage payroll and staff development.

The role emphasizes strong communication, coaching, and a commitment to extraordinary service. A full-time schedule includes weekends and holidays to support business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Current CPR Certification preferred.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club goals.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high performing staff.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests; ensure staff follow service guidelines.
• Staff Management: schedule shifts, coach, and maintain accountability.
• Administration and processing of payroll.
• Resolve employee issues or concerns; manage disciplinary actions.
• Oversee front desk activities: check-ins, tours, inquiries.
• Oversee cleanliness and safety; report equipment issues promptly.
• Manage marketing efforts and promotions with staff.
• Prepare HR forms and coordinate with Corporate Payroll.
• Track statistics and prepare weekly/monthly/annual reports.
• Provide backup support for absent employees.
