Planet Fitness is seeking a Club Manager to oversee gym operations and deliver a premier “Judgement Free Zone” experience. You will lead a diverse team, hire and train staff, and ensure a welcoming environment while meeting financial targets.

The role demands strong leadership, exceptional communication, and the ability to manage payroll, scheduling, and member services across front-desk operations. Full-time hours may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• CPR certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gym operations to ensure a welcoming, safe member experience and achieve club goals.
• Lead a team of staff including scheduling, coaching, training, and payroll processing.
• Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing staff across roles (Member Service Representatives, Assist. Managers, Shift Leaders, Trainers, Custodians).
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure superior customer service guidance across the club.
• Manage front-desk activities: check-ins, member sign-ups, tours, and inquiries.
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance, safety of staff and members, and timely equipment repairs.
• Drive marketing efforts and ensure staff are trained on promotions.
• Approve expenditures, refunds, and daily bank deposits; prepare HR forms for payroll.
• Track weekly, monthly, and annual statistics and sales performance.
• Provide backup support and communicate sales objectives to reach goals.
