You will assist in hiring, training and supervising staff, manage front desk activities, member tours, sign-ups, and ensure cleanliness and safety.

The role requires CPR certification, a high school diploma, strong customer service and supervisory skills, and basic Microsoft Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
• Experience working as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness.
• Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 year of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure superior customer service.
• Assist with staff management and provide backup support to Club Manager.
• Schedule and supervise staff.
• Oversee front desk activities: answer phones, check members in, sign-ups and tours.
• Facilitate member requests and issue resolution.
• Assist in facility cleanliness and maintenance.
• Assist in ordering supplies and tracking reports.
• Backup support for absent employees.
