Job summary

Excel Fitness in Lumberton, NC seeks team players to maintain a welcoming gym environment and assist members with routine services. You will ensure cleanliness, handle cash, promote memberships, and help guests use equipment and amenities, while following company policies and safety standards.

Position may be full-time or part-time. Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma, CPR/AED certifications, and strong communication skills. Training and certifications will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and AED certifications required before working alone.
• Comfortable standing for long periods.
• Strong communication skills with customers.
• Team-oriented, motivated and well-organized.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer use.
• Able to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Perform to your best abilities during your assigned work shift.
• Monitor and maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.
• Operate and assist members with equipment, tanning, HydroMassage, and other amenities.
• Input and update member information into tablets and point of sale.
• Audit and balance cash drawers daily.
• Promote club memberships and assist with promotions and implementations.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and insurance requirements.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for all members.
