Job description

Position Overview

The Gym associate will greet and direct members, guests and staff as they enter the gym and provide control of the front door location, ensuring smooth check‑in processes and assisting members with membership inquiries.

Gym Staffed Hours

Monday-Thursday: 9 am‑8 pm
Friday: 9 am‑5 pm
Saturday: 10 am‑3 pm
Sunday: 11 am‑3 pm
Shifts are scheduled within the gym staffed hours.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically greet each member and guest promptly using the proper greeting for time of day to create a friendly positive entrance and departure to and from the gym.
• Personally check each member into the gym using the proper check‑in procedures.
• Register all guests into the gym using proper registration procedures.
• Provide new guests with a tour of the gym and help answer questions about current membership options.
• Assist guests with purchasing a new membership.
• Answer phone in a professional and courteous manner and use proper phone greeting techniques.
• Process retail and concession sales.
• Cleans and maintains bathrooms, front desk, equipment, and general areas.
