Job summary

Workout Anytime in Arlington, TX is seeking a friendly Gym Associate to welcome members and guests, direct entry, and manage front desk duties during staffed hours.

You will guide prospective members through options, process registrations and sales, and help keep the gym clean and welcoming for all visitors. A customer-focused mindset and team spirit are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and members.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday).
• Take initiative and be proactive.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically greets each member and guest promptly using the proper greeting for time of day to create a friendly positive entrance and departure to and from the gym
• Personally checks each member into the gym using the proper check-in procedures
• Register all guests into the gym using proper registration procedures
• Provides new guests with a tour of the gym and helps answer questions about current membership options
• Assists guests with purchasing a new membership
• Answers phone in a professional and courteous manner and uses proper phone greeting techniques
• Processes retail and concession sales
• Cleans and maintains bathrooms, front desk, equipment, and general areas.

Position Overview

The Gym associate will greet and direct members, guests and staff as they enter the gym and provide control of the front door location.

Gym Staffed Hours:

• Monday-Thursday: 9am-8pm
• Friday: 9am-5pm
• Saturday: 10am-3pm
• Sunday: 11am-3pm

Shift are scheduled within the gym staffed hour times above
