Job summary

Workout Anytime - Rockmart is seeking a Gym Associate who will be responsible for greeting and directing members and guests as they enter the gym. In this role, you will manage the front desk, check in members, register guests, and assist with sales and inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically greets each member and guest promptly.
• Checks each member into the gym using proper procedures.
• Registers all guests into the gym.
• Provides new guests with a tour of the gym.
• Assists guests with purchasing a new membership.
• Answers phone in a professional manner.
• Processes retail and concession sales.
• Cleans and maintains bathrooms and general areas.

Position Overview

The Gym associate will greet and direct members, guests and staff as they enter the gym and provide control of the front door location.

Gym Staffed Hours

Monday-Thursday: 9am-8pm
Friday: 9am-5pm
Saturday: 10am-3pm
Sunday: 11am-3pm

Shift are scheduled within the gym staffed hour times above.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically greets each member and guest promptly using the proper greeting for time of day to create a friendly positive entrance and departure to and from the gym
• Personally checks each member into the gym using the proper check-in procedures
• Register all guests into the gym using proper registration procedures
• Provides new guests with a tour of the gym and helps answer questions about current membership options
• Assists guests with purchasing a new membership
• Answers phone in a professional and courteous manner and uses proper phone greeting techniques
• Processes retail and concession sales
• Cleans and maintains bathrooms, front desk, equipment, and general areas.
