Job summary

Planet Fitness - NJ/MA One World Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to assist in overseeing gym operations and ensuring an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience as well as a financially successful club.

You will help recruit, hire and train staff, supervise front desk operations, guide member services, oversee cleanliness, manage resources and reporting, and provide backup support to the Club Manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service required, especially in a fitness environment.
• ,
• CPR certification required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring superior customer service.
• Assist with staff management and scheduling.
• Oversee front desk activities and member tours.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
• Assist in ordering supplies and tracking reports.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager as needed.
