Bigge Crane and Rigging Co. in Houston, TX is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide full-cycle HR support across the Gulf Coast region.

Based in Houston, you will partner with leadership on employee relations, onboarding, policy interpretation, compliance, and workforce planning. You will serve as the primary HR contact for craft, service, and office personnel in the Gulf Coast, manage investigations and performance issues, coordinate with HRIS and benefits, and help drive headcount

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2 to 4 years of HR generalist experience.
• Working knowledge of federal and multi-state employment law in the Gulf region.
• Strong employee relations, investigations, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to travel regularly within the Gulf Coast region.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for craft, service, and office personnel in the Gulf Coast region.
• Manage employee relations matters, including investigations and performance issues, with HR leadership.
• Administer and interpret company policy and the employee handbook across Gulf states.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes for regional employees.
• Partner with recruiters on Gulf region hiring needs.
• Coordinate with HRIS and Benefits Manager on enrollment and leave administration.
• Support workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and organizational changes.
• Maintain compliance with applicable employment laws across Gulf states.
• Travel periodically to offices throughout the Gulf Coast region.
