Job summary

Rail Events Productions in Perris, CA is seeking a Box Office Agent for The Polar Express Train Ride. You will assist with ticketing duties, serve as the first point of contact for guests, and collaborate with Front of House and Business Managers to ensure smooth operations.

The role is non-exempt/Hourly, seasonal, with a $20 hourly wage. Candidates should be available weekends/evenings and able to stand for long periods on a moving train environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn the Etix Ticketing platform with efficiency and competency.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings.
• Must be 18 or over.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods.
• Able to work in cold, snowy, or inclement winter weather.
• Able to stand and walk on uneven or unsteady surfaces aboard a moving train.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers at the ticketing area and assist with service needs.
• Learn and operate Etix ticketing system; confirm reservations and times.
• Update customer information in the system and ensure accurate data before issuing tickets.
• Know onboard experience and act as point of reference for guests.
• Work with the event team to maintain a positive environment for all staff and passengers.
• Keep the ticketing area clean and orderly.
• Assist in preparing first class amenities (if applicable).
• Other duties as assigned.
