Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a courteous Valet Dispatcher to organize and coordinate valet and bell staff, ensuring world-class guest service. You will answer calls from guest rooms, front desk, and other departments with knowledge and initiative.

Shifts typically range 7am–3pm or 3pm–11pm, with weekend and holiday availability. You will manage valet keys, greet guests, monitor operations, and maintain a clean, professional front entrance experience for all visitors.

Qualifications

• Prior guest service experience strongly preferred in hotel/resort settings.
• Experience in valet or related guest services is beneficial.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering world-class guest service.
• Ability to operate both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proactive, initiative-taking and good judgment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English; other languages helpful.
• Ability to learn estate/history and Asheville area quickly.
• Proper telephone etiquette per department standards.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone professionally and efficiently.
• Use radio/tools to communicate with attendants.
• Sort and organize the valet keys.
• Oversee rotation of room pulls and valet pulls.
• Greet guests at window and assist with needs.
• Maintain knowledge of inn activities, services, hours, policies, groups, VIPs, and departure/arrival numbers.
• Follow Forbes and department standards.
