Job summary

Biltmore Workforce Management seeks a Valet Dispatch professional to organize and coordinate valet and bell staff, ensuring world-class guest service across the estate in Asheville. You will handle guest calls, direct staff via radio, and maintain keys and workspace with attentiveness to policies and standards.

The ideal candidate has strong guest service background, basic administrative skills, and the ability to operate both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.

Qualifications

• Prior guest service experience strongly preferred.
• Some previous administrative experience would be helpful in this role.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering world class guest service.
• Must be able to operate both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills; must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and problem solve quickly in a guest service setting.
• The ability to be proactive, take initiative where appropriate, and exercise good judgment.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage with guests in a sincere and helpful manner is key. Must be able to communicate effectively using standard written and spoken English; working knowledge/fluency in other languages beneficial.
• Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of the estate, history, and Asheville area.
• Must be able to use proper telephone etiquette in accordance with departmental and company standards.
• Able to work as an effective part of a team in a dynamic guest-service environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer guest calls and coordinate valet/bell staff to meet guest needs.
• Communicate via radio or other tools with attendants.
• Sort and organize valet keys; oversee room/valet pulls.
• Greet guests at the window and assist with needs.
• Maintain knowledge of daily estate activities, services, and policies.
• Follow Forbes and department standards for guest services.
• Remain in assigned positions to assist guests and comply with rotation policy.
• Perform key audits and catalogue keys.
• Monitor supplies and keep the valet area clean.
• Assist guests around the front entrance and during peak times.
