Job summary

Robert Morris University seeks a Guest Services Supervisor for the Island Sports Center. The role oversees the guest relations department, supports ISC and university needs, and provides training. The Supervisor will recruit and mentor staff, manage schedules, and ensure accurate programming information for guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school education or equivalent.
• 3+ years of guest services supervisory experience preferred.
• Commitment to outstanding guest service for Island Sports Center guests and clients.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to work various hours/shifts on weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.
• Detail oriented for record keeping and data entry.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Ability to run and balance a cash register.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests onsite and attend to their needs; provide enrollment programming to guests.
• Operate point-of-sale/cash register and fulfill cash control policies.
• Oversee Guest Services staff to meet and exceed customer needs.
• Manage Guest Services work schedule.
• Prepare and implement Guest Services training.
• Recruit, hire, and mentor Guest Services Associates and Skate Guards.
• Coordinate communications to/from Guest Services.
• Gain understanding of Daysmart database.
• Oversee ISC Birthday Party program.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
