Island Hospitality Management, LLC. is seeking a Resort Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the resort housekeepers, ensuring clean and well-maintained rental units, bath houses, offices, and meeting spaces.

The role may require flexible scheduling. A minimum of 1 year in housekeeping is preferred, with strong safety knowledge and excellent communication skills. Training and a comprehensive benefits package are provided to successful candidates.

Qualifications

• 1-year prior housekeeping/cleaning experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
• General janitorial knowledge
• Safety measures when using cleaning chemicals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask
• Basic computer proficiency (email, internet, MS Office)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate team member selection and development and ensure team members comply with policies.
• Inspect and approve the team’s work performance.
• Place orders for cleaning materials and stay within budget guidelines.
• Obtain pricing and place orders to stock rentals adequately.
• Ensure all operations and safety procedures are followed.
• Respond to guests' inquiries and complaints regarding resort housekeeping professionally.
