Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a capable AYS Supervisor at the JW Marriott Austin to oversee the guest services department. You will answer calls, dispatch requests, and ensure timely follow-up, while managing staff schedules and maintaining service levels in alignment with labor models.

Responsibilities include training, hiring support, safety enforcement, and coordinating with HR. Join a team dedicated to exceptional guest experiences and brand standards at a premier Austin hotel.

Qualifications

• Must pass certification quiz/test for position.
• Complete Chemical Training and Blood Borne Pathogen Training.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality guest service and anticipate needs.
• Supervise staff, schedule, and oversee staffing to meet service levels.
• Monitor department schedule and adjust staffing three days out.
• Assign duties for efficient department operation.
• Ensure inventory, supplies, and uniforms are available.
• Train new staff and cross-train existing staff as needed.
• Assist in interviewing and hiring new associates.
• Enforce safety standards and incident reporting.
• Handle emergencies per procedures and coordinate with leadership.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, hours, and local resources.
• Maintain pass-on log and communicate pending items to next shift.
• Post correspondence and update department communications.
