Job summary

Navy Lodge Monterey in Monterey, CA is seeking a Guest Services Representative II to greet guests, issue keys, operate the front desk switchboard, and support daily lodging operations in a busy federal facility.

You will deliver courteous service to service members and families, maintain lobby appearance, help with breakfast service, balance daily transactions, and coordinate with staff to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general office clerical experience.
• May substitute 0.5 year of academic study above high school for 6 months of experience.
• Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests.
• Issues room keys and operate the telephone switchboard.
• Communicates with Lodge personnel and chain of command.
• Reconciles daily transactions of all accounts.
• Follows local safety regulations and reports hazards.
• Maintain lobby appearance and cleanliness.
• Set up and clean up the complimentary breakfast bar and events.
