Job summary

StepStone Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a capable hotel associate to manage guest check-in/out, assign rooms, and handle reservations with accuracy and courtesy. You will respond to guest inquiries, process payments, and coordinate with the Guest Service Agent or guests directly.

Strong English communication, reliability in a fast-paced hotel setting, and the ability to follow hotel policies are essential. Night audit familiarity is a plus, and some shuttle driving may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have comprehensive knowledge of the English language.
• Ability to accurately report information.
• Ability to assist with various office tasks as needed.
• Must scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Register and assign rooms to guests.
• Issue room keys and escort instructions to Guest Service Agent or guest.
• Sort and track incoming mail and messages.
• Transmit and receive messages using all communication avenues.
• Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, and travel directions.
• Keep record of room availability and rate.
• Compute bill, collect payment, and make changes for guests.
• Make, confirm, and cancel reservations via all communication avenues.
• Post charges to guest bill when interface is inoperable.
• Deposit guest valuables in hotel safe deposit box.
• Maintain knowledge of each shift including night audit.
