Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of front desk experience, preferably in a large volume property.
• Hotel computer experience; ability to type 30–35 wpm; strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Represents the hotel to guests during all stages of stay, assisting with registration and room assignments.
• Verifies payment methods and follows credit-check procedures.
• Maintains room status reports with housekeeping and coordinates maintenance requests.
• Manages front desk records, keys, and safe deposit access; supports sales efforts with suggestive selling.
• Coordinates with housekeeping on room status and communicates guest needs to staff.
