Hotel Indigo Baton Rouge Downtown is hiring a Front Desk / Guest Services Representative to welcome guests, assist with check-ins/outs, and answer inquiries at the heart of our boutique hotel in downtown Baton Rouge.

No hotel experience is required; we will train the right person with a positive attitude and service mindset. Build guest relations, learn hotel systems, and support a team that delivers memorable stays.

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive person with strong customer service skills.
• Clear communicator who stays calm when busy.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and a problem-solver.
• Dependable, professional, and trustworthy.
• Performs well on a team and independently.
• Bonus: experience with hotel PMS or customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm smile and handle check-ins and check-outs.
• Answer calls, make reservations, and assist guests with questions.
• Register guests, verify payment, and keep records accurate.
• Assign rooms, pre-register groups, and prepare key packets.
• Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Breakfast, Laundry, and event teams.
• Handle shift drops, Lost and Found, and front desk paperwork.
• Keep the front desk and back office clean and organized.
• Protect guest and company confidentiality.
