Job summary

A&R Group is seeking a proactive Hotel Valet at Hotel Indigo in Baton Rouge to warmly welcome guests and manage the porte-cochère. You will assist with doors, luggage, and guiding cars while ensuring safety and courtesy.

Daily tasks include vehicle parking, inspections, and coordinating with Front Desk and Bellstand to streamline check-ins and check-outs. A lively outdoor environment and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving history are required.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual (stick-shift) vehicles is a major plus!
• This is a physical role that requires walking or running to and from the parking areas frequently.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a polished, professional appearance.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• First Impressions: Provide a warm, professional welcome to arriving guests and assist with opening vehicle doors and unloading luggage.
• Safe Vehicle Handling: Park and retrieve guest vehicles quickly and safely, following all traffic laws and property safety protocols.
• Vehicle Inspections: Perform quick, thorough inspections of vehicles upon arrival to note any existing damage and ensure guest peace of mind.
• Front Drive Management: Keep the hotel entrance (porte-cochère) clear, organized, and welcoming by managing traffic flow.
• Local Expert: Provide guests with helpful information about hotel amenities, downtown directions, and local favorites.
• Team Coordination: Work closely with the Front Desk and Bellstand to ensure a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
