Job summary

Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the Guest Services team and oversee Receptionist staff on site in Orlando. The role requires maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and guest dignity while coordinating daily operations.

You will monitor performance, provide coaching, and participate in incident reporting and safety procedures. Flexibility and bilingual ability are valued for service to diverse guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the campus in the absence of management and senior leadership.
• Supervise Guest Services Professionals and Receptionist staff; report performance issues to Guest Services Manager.
• Monitor and provide feedback on staff performance and address concerns promptly.
• Assist with performance reviews and coverage during absences.
• Coordinate and assist with dorm inspections, cleanliness and organization.
• Oversee inventory of guest supplies and linens; ensure proper handling of guest mail and packages.
• De-escalate crises, mediate disagreements and ensure safety of guests and staff.
