Job summary

Colonial Downs Group, owned by Churchill Downs Incorporated, is seeking a Player Services Representative to serve as guest contact and handle all applicable transactions. The Team Member may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Compensation: $15 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Cash handling and guest service experience preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain Virginia Racing Commission license.

Responsibilities

• Perform verifications on money, coins, and checks.
• Process jackpots, cashes checks, and redeem tickets for cash.
• Safeguard assets and follow internal controls and regulations.
• Maintain funds entrusted on shift and monitor for fraud.
• Balance funds and prepare reconciliation reports.
• Ensure cash inventory and keys are secure at all times.
• Greet guests, build loyalty, and respond to guest requirements.
• Enter data for Player Club memberships and update accounts.
• Know events, promotions, and community activities.
• Follow SOPs and cash handling procedures.
