Job summary

Prairie Meadows is seeking a Prairie Gold Representative in Altoona, IA. You will be one of the first faces guests see, guiding them with property details and rewards information while promoting the Prairie Gold Rewards program.

You’ll support events and promotions, assist in the gift shop, handle transactions, and maintain current knowledge of property offerings. Weekend/holiday hours and standing for long periods are required.

Qualifications

• Strong guest service and communication skills required.
• Basic typing and knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred.
• Ability to ring up sales, balance registers, handle cash accurately, and dispense change.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring guests are greeted and given property details and rewards program information.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of property, operations, promotions & events.
• Promoting the Prairie Gold Rewards program and its benefits to guests and assisting with account setup.
• Assisting with execution of promotions and special events on property.
• Assisting the gift shop by creating displays, operating cash register, and helping guests.
