Job summary

Prairie Meadows is seeking a Promotions Coordinator to join our Marketing team. You will plan, create, implement, execute and coordinate promotions and special events to delight guests and boost attendance and revenue.

Responsibilities include budgeting, developing promo materials, supporting direct marketing, and coordinating with vendors and entertainment acts. Requires strong communication, editing, and organizational skills, plus flexibility for weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree in Marketing or related field; or two or more years of experience in field.
• Ability to communicate and interact verbally and in writing with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Strong grammar and editing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgets, themes, and menus for promotions and events that drive property attendance, revenue and attract guests.
• Create promotional fact sheets, budget proposals and promotional rules.
• Assist on direct marketing projects; scheduling, production, proofing and process execution to meet timelines and quality control.
• Serve as a lead liaison between marketing team and external vendors.
• Responsible for booking and scheduling casino entertainment including local and regional acts.
