Job summary

Four Seasons Maui is seeking a Lobby Lounge Assistant Manager to lead the Front of House team, ensuring guest satisfaction in a luxury oceanfront setting.

You will supervise staff, train, coach and drive service standards while managing wine and beverage quality in a compliant, upscale environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role in Food & Beverage.
• Knowledge of F&B service, cost and labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
• Ability to operate computer equipment and other F&B systems.
• English reading/writing and speaking proficiency required.
• Hawaii Food Handler Card and Maui Liquor Card required.
• ServSafe certification within 3 months; TB clearance also needed.

• Plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees of the Lobby Lounge.
• Be visible in operations, recognize staff, promote guest relations and handle requests.
• Provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits and ensure quality of items in the environment.

Lobby Lounge Assistant Manager

Plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees in the Hotel’s Lobby Lounge while ensuring guest satisfaction. This role is part of the Food & Beverage Division, reporting to the Komo & Lobby Lounge Manager. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.

What You Will Do

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; daily activities and planning for outlet operation.
• The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
• Provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits and ensure quality of all food or beverage items, ingredients, and preparation methods, in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience while following and maintaining all local, state, and federal laws relating to alcohol service and consumption.

What You Will Bring

• One to two years previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager position in Food & Beverage.
• Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
• Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Hawaii Food Handler Card
• Maui Liquor Card
• ServSafe (within 3 months)
• Tuberculosis Clearance

• Full time schedule based on operational needs, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
