Job summary

Plainfield Park District is seeking a friendly Guest Services Coordinator for PARC to oversee staff, training, and registration. This part-time role supports the recreation department and offers benefits such as the IMRF pension plan, 20 hours of vacation after one year of employment, three paid holidays, and a free gym membership.

Typical hours are 8:30am-12:30pm Monday through Friday, with some nights and weekends as needed. Accurate recordkeeping and customer-focused service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required or able to obtain within three (3) months of hire date.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Microsoft Office knowledge; RecTrac experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and facilitates training for guest services staff.
• Assist with establishing and maintaining customer service standards.
• Ensures guest services staff completes clerical and registration functions according to park district guidelines and expectations.
• Oversees functional use of RecTrac and WebTrac systems, ensuring efficient utilization, adherence to best practices, and accurate recordkeeping
• Covers Guest services desk on a regular basis, including nights and weekends as necessary.
• Promptly addresses patron inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
