Penn Entertainment is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to welcome guests, manage seating rotations, and handle reservations. You will coordinate with servers and the kitchen to ensure timely service and accurate guest experiences in a fast-paced casino setting.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong customer service, basic math for cash handling, and the ability to interpret safety rules. Evening shifts and compliance with regulatory standards are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Ability to respond to guest inquiries and complaints respectfully.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and documents.
• Ability to present information clearly to staff and guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
• Ability to solve practical problems and adapt to varied situations.
• Must qualify for PA State Racing Commission license and Gaming Control Board credentialing.
• Must obtain food handler and RAMP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and escort to seat promptly.
• Maintain communication with servers and inform them when a table is seated.
• Answer phones and take reservations when needed.
• Verify reservations before seating guests.
• Advise guests of waiting time and suggest beverage outlets.
• Seat guests according to rotation, distribute menus, and explain daily specials.
• Know daily specials and menu items and how they’re prepared.
• Address guest complaints quickly and courteously.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and coordinate with kitchen staff.
• Support casino team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure work area complies with Pennsylvania health standards.
