Job summary

Pine Mountain Ski and Golf Resort is seeking a friendly, service-minded hotel front desk agent to join our guest services team. You will warmly welcome guests, manage accounts and bookings, and field inquiries and complaints to ensure an excellent guest experience.

You will use strong communication skills to assist guests, coordinate with housekeeping, and help guests with room rates, availability, and special requests, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in hospitality as a hotel front desk agent or guest service preferred.
• Excellent time management, organizational, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must have graduated high school, GED or equivalent.
• Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and reservation management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular bookkeeping duties: keep hotel guest information current and correct.
• Mitigate customer complaints as needed.
• Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs (rates, availability, amenities, rewards programs, special requests).
• Communicate with housekeeping to ensure guest rooms are ready.
• Greet, check-in, and check-out guests, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information.
