Job summary

Home2 Suites is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver attentive, courteous service to guests before arrival and throughout their stay. You will manage check-ins/outs, respond to requests, and promote hotel amenities while ensuring compliance with brand policies.

The role requires financial awareness, strong communication, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. Fluency in English and a valid driver’s license are mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience handling cash, accounting procedures and general administrative tasks.
• Ability to assimilate complex information from disparate sources and adjust to needs.
• Effective at solving problems and working under pressure.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Weekend and holidays required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, courteous service to guests before arrival and during their stay.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Respond to guest requests, problems, complaints and/or emergencies promptly and courteously.
• Answer guest inquiries about hotel services and local area.
• Deliver packages, mail and messages to guests as needed.
• Follow Lexima/Brand policies and rate guidelines.
• Be familiar with in-house groups, rates and promotions.
• Operate the front desk computer system accurately.
• Keep the front office area clean and organized.
• Comply with Lexima/Brand policies and hotel rules; participate in meetings and events.
• Develop understanding of hotel amenities and services.
• Understand emergency procedures and assist when needed.
• Communicate professionally via radio with hotel staff.
• Ensure correct cash handling and accurate transactions.
