Job summary

Lexima's Home2 Suites is seeking a Front Desk Agent to provide attentive, courteous and efficient service to guests from arrival through their stay, while supporting revenue and occupancy goals. Responsibilities include handling check-ins and check-outs, responding to guest requests, answering inquiries, delivering packages, and operating front desk systems.

A positive, professional appearance and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A degree with an emphasis in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management and/or related fields preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience handling cash, accounting procedures and general administrative tasks.
• Must be able to assimilate complex information and data from disparate sources and adapt accordingly.
• Must be fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
• Respond to all guests’ requests, problems, complaints and/or accidents with courtesy and efficiency; follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Answer all guest inquiries about hotel services, amenities and local area.
• Ensure delivery of packages, mail and messages to guests as needed.
• Operate front desk computer systems accurately and efficiently.
• Be familiar with rates, packages and promotions; manage suite inventory as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized front office; comply with brand policies and hotel rules.
